Europa Technologies launches update to global data product suite to mark end to successful 2011

Geo-data service provider Europa Technologies is launching the latest update to its market leading family of global data products.

The 2011.3 release introduces a number of important improvements including:

  • More hi-resolution coastlines
  • First and second level administrative boundary changes for 29 countries
  • Enhanced National Parks
  • New and updated place names
  • Road and city street updates

Additionally, the new release delivers thousands of minor updates and improvements to track the ever-changing world.

The release not only marks the completion of the 2011 release plan for the global maps family but also is the culmination of a highly successful year for Europa Technologies. The two largest licensing deals in the company's 21-year history were struck this year, plus new products and services based on the global maps were introduced in key sectors, including telecoms and insurance. This year also saw key wins for the company's Data as a Service (DaaS) offering, viaEuropa.

To celebrate this achievement Europa Technologies will be offering, for a limited period until the end of January 2012, a number of promotional offers on its products and services. This includes special deals on product maintenance programs and free set-up on services.
